1. It’s baseball season, which matters because baseball is a sport without time and mistakes are the majority of what happens—it’s a game of character, in other words, a kind of infinite game.
A dear CxD reader sent along this tender story of a deep friendship between the two announcers for the S.F. Giants. They are funny wise-asses, and the well of humor helps them both survive a serious muscle disorder that would cripple the spirits of most men. A wonderful and inspiring read, so do yourself the favor.

Tim Ferris’s podcast is my go-to for learning about what the frontiers of human achievement and ideas look like. The podcast featuring Katie Haun not only taught me all kinds of things about the future of crypto currency and NFTs and corrupt federal FBI agents, but her character and demeanor is so clear and gracious and grounded, that “ego-less and fearless”—terms she uses to describe her mentor, but are obviously just as applicable to her— are perfect descriptions and one of the most powerful character combinations in existence. This is one of the more exceptional interviews I’ve ever heard.
