CxD #116
I’m spending a lot of time teaching on Zoom, talking to my parents via Zoom, talking to old knuckleheads I used to know (yes, you!) on Zoom, taking training courses via Zoom, talking to my spiritual elders via Zoom, etc.
One thing that’s surprised me somewhat is that some folks haven’t given much consideration about how they present themselves… on Zoom. Is this similar to the nose-picking scenario when we're in traffic and don’t care if someone in a car just two feet away looks at us when we’re up there digging?
I’m not proselytizing about needing to look fancy; but people who care about character do consider how they present themselves to others and the effect they have on them. Would you want your surgeon coming out to greet you in her Grateful Dead t-shirt and a “Fuck You” hat?
Here’s a 3 step guide to adding a little extra care to your Zoom delivery.

If any of you ever wanted to see what a “Zen Master” does, tune in for an hour on Tuesday, April 14th, 12:30-1:30pm, Central Texas time, to find out. Being a witness to these “inquiries” led by Flint Sparks utterly changed my life. Zoom link here.
How y’all doing? Say hello one of these days.
